The Yacht is a spelljamming ship built by the Arcane and used by humans.[1]
Description[]
The Yacht was originally a converted ocean-sailing vessel used for pleasure cruises into planetary low orbit. Recently, however, Yachts have been custom built for use in wildspace. These luxury vessels boast the finest quality furnishings, including plush carpeting. These trappings account for the nearly three-fold increase in price of the vessel. The turreted ballistae come standard mounted on the craft, but can be removed to decrease the price by 3,000 gp (the Arcane use this as a bargaining chip with those customers who love to haggle). Replacing the major helm with a minor helm can reduce the price by nearly 100,000 gp as well.
The Yacht's most prized "extra" is its ability to realign itself with the nearest gravity plane. If a Yacht encounters a larger vessel, it smoothly realigns its own gravity plane with that of the other ship. In addition to its remarkable Maneuverability, it is this feature that makes this vessel so expensive and desirable.
