T'brinish was the up-and-coming ruler of a relatively small sahuagin kingdom on Conatha in Greyspace in the Spelljammer campaign setting.[1]
Overview[]
T'brinish was the ruler of a relatively small but dynamic sahuagin kingdom in the southern polar region of Conatha which, according to tradition, was named after him. T'brinish was a lethal warrior, as expected of a sahuagin warlord, but it was his intellect that made him particularly dangerous. He was aware that spelljamming vessels occasionally landed on Conatha's surface, and had come to the realization that they represented something more than a convenient source of food. And while he didn't have a clear understanding of spelljamming as such, he sensed that having access to these ships - and their weapons - would give him an advantage in any future conflicts.[1]
Description[]
T'brinish was a young male sahuagin.[1]
Personality[]
Practically a genius by sahuagin standards, T'brinish had come to the realization that sometimes keeping a bargain may be even more advantageous than betraying a rival, and had begun cultivating alliances among neighbouring kingdoms,[1]
Relationships[]
Allies[]
T'brinish ruled a small sahuagin nation located on the southern pole of Conatha, bordering the territory of the much larger K'klosh kingdom. Thus far his influence was limited to perhaps a dozen small nations with whom he had formed allegiances. What made T'brinish unique was the fact that he honored those pacts and agreements he made with other leaders. At first, he and his kingdom were taken advantage of many times, but slowly the fact that there were benefits to sticking to an agreement rather than breaking it at the first opportunity had begun to percolate through the neighbouring leader's communal consciousness.
As they realized this, the warlords of neighbouring kingdoms began entering into non-aggression pacts with T'brinish, and while they still had a long way to go, it would appear that they were well on their way to creating something previously thought impossible: a stable alliance of independent sahuagin nations, working toward a single goal without significant in-fighting. If this trend continued, the alliance around T'brinish would eventually be large and powerful enough to challenge even the X'kabantun for dominance.[2]
Enemies[]
The sahuagin of Conatha were, if anything, even more aggressive and territorial than their kin elsewhere in the universe, and were constantly at war with each other and the merfolk kingdoms of Loquasti and Varanais. The most powerful and important kingdoms included the X'kabantun, Zuplisti, St'kils, K'klosh, and the L'k'stiz.[3]
