The Shields was a mercenary company hired to provide protection for Halvor's Spacedock in the Spelljammer campaign setting.[1]

"The Shields" were a mercenary company hired by Hurricane Halvor to provide protection for his travelling Spacedock. They were also responsible for manning the major helm whenever Halvor, or the resident sarphardin, decided it was time to move the asteroid. Thaerea, Halvor's wife, was a priest of Ptah who led them in worship and provided her services as a healer.[2]
Membership[]
The Shields consisted of two heavily armoured human warriors wearing enchanted full plate armor, six half-elven thief/mages and a flesh golem.[2]
