The Insectare Homeworld is an otherwise unnamed planet in the Spelljammer campaign setting.[1]
Overview[]
The Insectare live in a closed society and forbid outsiders from ever setting foot on their homeworld, which they keep secret from the rest of the universe. Interlopers who are caught can expect a harsh interrogation (to ascertain whether any other beings knows the location of the planet), before their public execution.
Insectare live in large hollowed-out mountains that rise out of the endless forests that cover their homeworld. Not much is known about these communities, but it is believed that these mountains are honeycombed with dwellings, possibly a remnant of their insect heritage.
