Herospace is a crystal sphere controlled by the Rational Order of Magistrates, whose headquarters are located on the moon Borden, which is in orbit around the world Ge'Neva.[1][2]
Overview
Herospace is a unique sphere in that it has nine separate suns. Each sun is much smaller than a typical sun from a standard sphere, and only has a single planet revolving around it. The planets each represent one distinct alignment, and with few exceptions, individuals may only live on the planet that corresponds to their personal alignment.
To live in Herospace, an individual must prove to the Rational Order of Magistrates that they are above the common man. Entry into Herospace is controlled by the Order, who retain the sole right to judge those who hope to call it home.[3]
Location
Herospace is a free floating crystal sphere in the Flow, and has connections to Realmspace[note 1], Faeriespace, Greatspace and possibly Darkspace.[note 2]
Crystal Shards
When a suitably remarkable person (and their spouses and/or offspring) are granted access to Herospace, they receive a shard of crystal which will in turn grant them access to one particular planet. The crystal is the same hue or color as the sun around which their particular planet revolves.
Any unauthorized vessel or person attempting to land on a planet without an appropriately colored crystal shard will be denied access. If the intruder is attempting to fly into the planet’s atmosphere, they will be repelled by an impenetrable force field. Any attempt to teleport or travel ethereally onto a planet simply fails. How this was achieved, either through weaving great incantations or the use of a powerful artifact, is unknown, but most speculate that the Arcane were somehow involved.[4]

Notes
- ↑ The source material is explicit in connecting Herospace to any of the Known Spheres, as decided by the Gamesmaster. However, for the sake of convenience, Realmspace is usually the sphere listed by most fan-made works.
- ↑ The source material is ambiguous as to whether there is a direct connection to Darkspace. Most fan-made works assume that such a connection exists.
