Heartspace is a crystal sphere famed for its great repository of knowledge known as the Great Archive located on the planet Crescent.[1]
Overview[]
Heartspace is a cosmopolitan crystal sphere famous for its Great Archive. The sphere is named for its primary, a bloated red sun known as the Heart which appears to "beat" like a living heart.[1]
Location[]
Heartspace is a free floating crystal sphere within the Flow. It has flow connections to Krynnspace,[2] Winterspace[3], and Nex.[4]
Celestial bodies[]
Heartspace is a heliocentric system, with the system primary, a fire body known as the Heart, lying at the center of the sphere and orbited by a variety of planets and their satellites.[5]
The Heart (Sun)[]
The Heart is the primary of Heartspace, and is a massive, cool, brick-red fire body. Ten times the size of the sun of Krynnspace, the Heart is a bloated, tenuous celestial body, reaching the end of its natural life-span. The Heart is named for the way the fire body expands and contracts over a cycle of many hours, appearing to "beat" like a living heart.[5]
Crescent[]
Crescent is a crescent-shaped planet famed for its great repository of knowledge known as the Great Archive.[6]
Starfall[]
Starfall is a planet with a spelljamming port, and is home to a strange little tavern known as The Philosopher's Rest.[7]
Loom[]
Loom is a massive yellow-white ovoid world that resembles an egg floating in wildspace. It is also the last planet in the Heartspace system.[8]
Crystal sphere[]
From the Phlogiston the crystal shell of Heartspace resembles an infinite wall of mother-of-pearl.[9] The sphere has sixteen permanent portals which allow access to and from the Flow,[8] each resembling a black disc limned with a shimmering lightning-like radiance.
