Gorthspaceis a crystal sphere dominated by the Vodoni Empire, and ruled with an iron fist by the Emperor Vulkaran.[1] The sphere is named for its only habitable planet Gorth.

Gorthspace is centrally located within the Vodoni Empire, making it an ideal location for Vodoni military personnel to take shore leave. The planet Gorth is the only habitable planet in the sphere and is covered with lush and ancient forests. There are no known sentient inhabitants, only animals, making it a favorite hunting ground for Vodoni enforcers.[1]

Gorthspace is part of a stable configuration of 12 spheres in the phlogiston known as the Vodoni Empire, which includes Vodonispace, Golotspace, Kofuspace, Kra'akenspace, Lostspace, Passarspace, Salzarspace, Thasiaspace, Vergonspace, Vodonikaspace and Zalanispace.[2][3]
