A Dark Region is a mysterious region of ominous darkness found very rarely in the phlogiston.[1]

Description[]
These mysterious inky black clouds of negative energy are rarely come across, and as such, little is known about their nature or their origin. Because the cloud is comprised of pure negative energy, living creatures who spend even a little time within a Dark Region will begin to lose life essence (hp loss). Healing spells do not work within a Dark Region, and the cloud is harmless to inorganic materials.[3]
Notable Dark Regions[]
- The Weird is a Dark Region with a particularly poor reputation and as such has served as a bulwark against the expansionist policies of the Vodoni Empire.[2]
