The Crown of Corellon is a former Elven Imperial Navy space station[note 1] that was overrun by the Scro during the second Unhuman War.[1][2]

Description[]

The Crown of Corellon is an elven space station constructed by melding seven archaic man-o-wars together. The archaic men-o-war form a circle, with the ship's bows and weapons facing out into wildspace. Most of the walls, floors and ceiling are made from natural wood, supported by stone work in between. All the walls and ceilings are coated by a phosphorescent fungus that provides illumination equivalent to starlight. The main body of the space station houses the arbor deck, the hold deck, battle deck, main deck and castle deck.

The sterns of the various ships are joined together into a 75 foot diameter platform that forms the central keep of the station. Rising from the castle deck are seven spires that surround a central tower consisting of troop, catwalk, turret and command levels. The station is equipped with a score or more medium ballistae, however the catapult platforms have been neglected in favour of docking stations for three wasp ships.

Crew[]

The Scro forces assigned to the Crown of Corellon are commanded by an Almighty Leader, who is assisted by 10 captains and 10 warpriests, each of whom are assigned a sergeant as an aide. The scro forces are divided into three shifts, and consists of 21 sergeants who command 60 weapon's handlers, and an additional 40 marines.

In addition, the wasp ships assigned to the Crown of Corellon are crewed by 8 marines, one sergeant and a warpriest each.[3]

History[]

Notes[]

  1. The source text describes the Crown of Corellon as an Armada, but this is assumed to be in error, since an elven Armada is a different vessel entirely.
