Chronos is a war-torn crystal sphere in the Spelljammer campaign setting.

Overview

Chronos has been ravaged by war for well over 300 years. Icarus Straves, the fiendish leader of a magocratic world, has led his people in a centuries-long war against the inhabitants of a distant planet located on the far side of the sphere. As the war dragged on, not enough experienced spellcasters remained to helm the fleets of spelljammers. Icarus tasked his council of mages to develop an alternate method of powering spelljamming vessels, resulting in the creation of the first artifurnaces many years later.
